Brux Night Guards in Charlotte

Bruxism is a condition where you clench or grind your teeth while sleeping. This can cause severe damage to your teeth and gums, possibly resulting in losing your teeth entirely. If you grind your teeth at night, then you are likely dealing with the consequences of bruxism.

Most dentists will offer you a night guard to protect your teeth from further damage to address this condition. However, these prescriptions can be costly and inconvenient to maintain. Fortunately, other affordable options are available to help prevent further tooth damage caused by bruxism.

If you’re looking for an affordable and convenient way to protect yourself from further bruxism-related damage, then investing in a set of night guards by Charlotte Emergency Dental is the perfect solution!

What is a Brux Night Guard?

Night guards become necessary when someone is continuously grinding their teeth. Grinding, or bruxing, is caused when the upper and lower teeth do not fit together properly and slide past each other when chewing.

Sometimes this can cause you to subconsciously grind your teeth to eliminate those areas that are not meshing well, especially while you are sleeping. This action can, in turn, cause toothaches, muscle or joint pain.

At Charlotte Emergency we often make a splint that fits over the biting surface of your upper and lower teeth, preventing grinding and protecting your teeth to eliminate many of these painful symptoms.

How Do Brux Night Guards Work?

Brux night guards are fitted to your teeth, so they fit snug around your upper or lower teeth. The night guard works by absorbing the force placed on your teeth while you grind your teeth at night. This prevents your teeth from sustaining further damage due to disrupted sleep patterns.

Additionally, Brux nightguards are designed to promote better oral health. They can improve the quality of the air that you breathe by filtering out unwanted odors and gases. They also allow more saliva to flow, which benefits your gums and teeth. If you are concerned about your teeth, gums, or jaw health, bruxism is something that you should be aware of.

Bruxism is a condition where you clench or grind your teeth while sleeping. It is a common problem that many people have but do not know about. If you grind your teeth at night, then you are likely dealing with the consequences of bruxism. It is essential to take steps to protect your teeth from further damage.

Brux night guards are a great way to do this. They are easy to use and much more affordable than regular mouth guards.

Why Are Bruxism Night Guards So Affordable?

The main reason why Brux night guards are much more affordable than traditional mouth guards is that they can be used for years. Traditional mouth guards usually only last for a few months, making them a costly investment.

Brux nightguards can be reused for years thanks to their durable design, making them an affordable investment. Another reason Brux night guards are more affordable than traditional mouth guards is that they can be purchased online.
